  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Unsalted peanut butter 3/4 cup
  • Can of peas 1 piece

African Stewed Chicken: Recipe

We present to you a simple and delicious recipe for African stewed chicken, perfect for an everyday dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2-3 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation:

  1. In a heated skillet with oil, brown the chicken pieces until golden.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet, and cook until the onion is soft.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, mix, and cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Pour the broth over the chicken, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer covered for 30-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley.

This dish can be served with rice or potatoes.
