Pancakes with Vanilla

  • Milk 2 1/2 - 3 Cups
  • Egg yolk 2 Pieces
  • Vanilla sugar 2 Teaspoons
  • Flour 1 1/2 Cups
  • Granulated sugar 2 Tablespoons
  • Salt 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Melted butter 5 Tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) 3-4 Tablespoons
None1. In a large bowl, sift the flour, add a pinch of salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
None2. Pour in the egg yolks and previously melted but cooled butter. Stir the mixture again until smooth.
None3. Gradually add the milk while whisking diligently. The batter should have a consistency similar to liquid sour cream. Add more milk if necessary.
None4. Heat a pan and grease it with vegetable oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan and spread it evenly. Fry on one side until the batter sets, then flip with a thin spatula and cook for about 30 more seconds. Place a small portion of butter on the finished hot pancake. Serve with condensed milk, jam, berries, cream, or with Nutella and banana. Enjoy your meal!
