Rice and Strawberry Dessert
This is a simple yet delightful dessert recipe that combines aromatic rice and fresh strawberries. It's perfect for a sweet ending to any meal.
Ingredients:
- 200 g round-grain rice
- 500 ml milk
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 300 g fresh strawberries
- Pinch of salt
Preparation:
- In a small pot, bring the milk to a boil with a pinch of salt. Then add the rinsed rice and cook on low heat, stirring, for 20 minutes, until it absorbs all the liquid.
- Once the rice is soft, remove it from heat and add sugar and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
- Allow the mixture to cool, then spoon it into serving cups.
- To serve, slice the strawberries in half and place them on top of the rice dessert.
- If desired, you can garnish the dessert with mint.
