Beef Ribeye with Apples and Onions

Ingredients
- 500 g beef ribeye
- 2 apples
- 1 large onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
- Cut the beef ribeye into portion-sized pieces.
- Season the meat with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Sear the ribeye for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, slice the apples and onion.
- Transfer the seared meat to a plate, and in the same skillet, sauté the onion until soft.
- Add the apples and continue cooking until they become soft.
- Mix the apples with the onion and return the seared meat to the skillet, simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
