Italian Bread with Cheese, Olives and Herbs
This recipe invites you to create a delicious Italian bread filled with creamy cheese, olives, and fresh herbs. Its aroma and texture will make it the perfect addition to any dish.
Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 300 ml water
- 7 g dry yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g cheese (mozzarella or any other)
- 100 g olives (black or green)
- 1 tsp salt
- Fresh herbs (basil, parsley)
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt, making a well in the center.
- In a separate container, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Add the dissolved yeast and olive oil to the flour and knead the dough.
- Place the dough in a warm place for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
- Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle, sprinkle with chopped olives, cheese, and herbs.
- Roll the dough up and place it seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Let the bread rise for another 30 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
