California Sandwich with Kiwi

This simple recipe for fruit sandwiches will make a great start to your morning. The combination of fresh fruits and aromatic bread will add vibrant flavors and moods to your breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of bread (preferably whole grain)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 100 g cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Nuts to taste (hazelnuts or walnuts)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the bread. Toast it in a dry skillet until golden brown.
  2. Prepare the fruit layer. Cut the banana and apple into small pieces.
  3. Make the cottage cheese mixture. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese and honey until smooth.
  4. Assemble the sandwiches. Spread the cottage cheese mixture on one piece of bread, then top with the sliced fruits and sprinkle with nuts. Cover with the second piece of bread.
  5. Serve. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve with your favorite drink. Enjoy your meal!
