If you don't have these tools, use a vegetable knife to carefully cut the potato into thin slices. In the photo, you can see the potatoes sliced using a grater attachment, as well as a method of using a grater in different directions.

I recommend starting with one chip to check if the oil is hot enough. You will be able to see how quickly the chip fries. Fry the chips in batches and then place them on paper towels.
