This is a simple and accessible recipe for a Lithuanian potato dish - potato sausages "Vedarai". This dish, known for its pleasant taste, is often prepared in Lithuanian homes.
Ingredients
- yellow potatoes - 1 kg
- onion - 2 pcs.
- salt - to taste
- black pepper, ground - to taste
- minced meat - 300 g
- regional herbs - if desired
Preparation
- Peel the potatoes and onions, then grate them.
- Mix the grated ingredients with minced meat, add salt and pepper.
- Form small sausages from the resulting mixture.
- Boil the sausages in salted water until cooked through.
