Cheddar Cheese Crackers

If you want to delight yourself and your loved ones with original snacks, this cheddar cracker recipe is a great solution! They have an unusual flavor and are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 50 g butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper (optional)
  • 80 ml cold water

Preparation:

  1. In a deep bowl, mix flour, grated cheese, butter, and salt until you get a uniform mass.
  2. Add a pinch of red pepper, if using, and gradually pour in the cold water while kneading the dough.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. After chilling, roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 5 mm.
  5. Cut out desired shapes and place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, until they are golden and crispy.
  7. Let cool and serve as a snack or with tea.
