Cut the chicken into pieces and place them in a deep bowl or plate. | |
To prepare the marinade, grate the zest of one mandarin and squeeze out the juice. Add the grated ginger and slightly warm the mixture in the microwave for about one minute. Then add crushed garlic, salt, spices, and soy sauce. | |
Mix the marinade with the chicken, combine thoroughly, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. | |
Lay out foil in a baking dish, grease it with oil, and place the marinated chicken on it. | |
Add wedges of the remaining mandarins and coarsely chopped onion. | |
Bake the dish at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. The chicken with mandarins is ready! | |
Transfer the chicken to a serving dish, add the roasted onions and mandarin wedges. Drizzle with the juice that formed during baking, and garnish with fresh herbs. Bon appétit! |
