Halibut Lasagna
This recipe features a popular dish from Alaska – halibut lasagna. Making lasagna requires high-quality ingredients and a bit of time, but the result is worth the effort.
Ingredients
- 500 g halibut
- 250 g lasagna sheets
- 300 ml cream
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 100 g parmesan
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan until golden.
- Add diced halibut, cooking until done.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream, torn mozzarella cheese, and spices.
- Spread some of the creamy mixture on the bottom of the baking dish, then layer with lasagna sheets.
- Add a layer of fish and pour more creamy mixture over it.
- Repeat the layers until the ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of sauce and sprinkling with parmesan.
- Bake the lasagna for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly, slice, and serve.
