Rigatoni with Sweet Sausage

  • Garlic 2 Cloves
  • Onion 1/2 Piece
  • Canned Tomatoes 780 Grams
  • Rigatoni 450 Grams
  • Cumin 1/2 Tsp
  • Cayenne Pepper 1/4 Tsp
  • Butter 1 Tbsp
  • Olive Oil 3 Tbsp
  • Sugar 2 Tsp
  • Salt and Pepper 1 To taste

rigatoni_so_sladkoi_kolbasoi-8314.JPGRemove the meat from the pan. Pour in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add the sage. Sauté for 1 minute. Add cayenne pepper and leek. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Return the meat to the pan. Turn off the heat.

Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Add sugar and salt. Stir and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Blend the tomatoes into a smooth consistency, then add milk and butter, stirring again.
Mix the rigatoni (cooked in salted water) with the sausage, place on a platter, and drizzle with sauce.
