German Chocolate Cake

This delightful German chocolate cake with a creamy frosting is the perfect treat for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 200 g German chocolate
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 ml milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C and prepare the baking pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath.
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, then add the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Gradually add the flour with the baking powder and pour in the milk, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Cool the cake before covering it with frosting.
  7. For the frosting, melt 100 g of chocolate and mix with 50 g of butter, stirring until smooth.
  8. Spread the frosting on the cooled cake and let it set.
