German Chocolate Cake
This delightful German chocolate cake with a creamy frosting is the perfect treat for special occasions.
Ingredients
- 200 g German chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 ml milk
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175°C and prepare the baking pan.
- Melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, then add the melted chocolate mixture.
- Gradually add the flour with the baking powder and pour in the milk, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the cake before covering it with frosting.
- For the frosting, melt 100 g of chocolate and mix with 50 g of butter, stirring until smooth.
- Spread the frosting on the cooled cake and let it set.
