Sicilian Pizza
We present to you a unique recipe for a traditional Italian dish – Sicilian pizza.
Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 300 ml water
- 10 g salt
- 7 g yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g tomatoes
- 250 g mozzarella
- paprika to taste
- basil for garnish
Preparation
- In a deep bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
- Gradually add water and olive oil, kneading the dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a round shape and place it on a baking sheet.
- Spread the tomatoes, diced mozzarella, and sprinkle with paprika on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for about 25 minutes.
- Garnish the finished pizza with basil and serve.
