Recipe for Dumplings with Portobello Mushroom Sauce
To make incredibly delicious dumplings, you will need the following ingredients:
- Flour - 500 g
- Water - 200 ml
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Beef - 300 g
- Pork - 300 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Onion - 1 pc.
For the sauce:
- Portobello mushrooms - 300 g
- Cream - 200 ml
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Mix flour with salt, add egg and water. Knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- For the filling, finely chop the meat, onion, and garlic. Pass through a meat grinder or blender. Mix well.
- Roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut out circles. Place a portion of the filling on each piece of dough and shape the dumplings.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Drop in the dumplings and cook for 5-7 minutes after they float.
- For the sauce, sauté the chopped mushrooms in olive oil until golden brown. Add cream, salt, and pepper. Cook on low heat until thickened.
- Serve the dumplings with the hot sauce. Enjoy your meal!
