Add pieces of ham (I use chicken ham, but you can use any other type or even substitute with various sausages). | |
Sauté the ham with the vegetables for 3 minutes. Then transfer the contents of the skillet to the pot. | |
When the potatoes are soft, add the noodles to the pot. If you're using grains, add them after the potatoes have boiled. Season with salt and add spices to taste, cooking on low heat for another 5 minutes. | |
At the end of the cooking, add the chopped garlic, remove from heat, and let the soup steep for 10 minutes. | |
