Cherry Soup with Dumplings

  • cherries - 500 g
  • water - 1 l
  • sugar - 100 g
  • flour - 300 g
  • egg - 1 piece
  • salt - to taste
  • butter - 50 g

Preparation

  1. First, prepare the cherries by removing the pits.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the cherries with sugar.
  3. Cook the cherries for about 15 minutes until they become soft.
  4. To make the dumplings, mix the eggs, flour, and salt.
  5. Fill the dough with cherry filling and seal the dumplings tightly.
  6. In a separate pot, cook the dumplings until done.
  7. Serve the soup hot with dumplings and a small amount of butter.
