Ingredients

  • Honey – 200 g
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Flour – 500 g
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Cream – 400 g sour cream, 200 g sugar

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, mix honey and sugar, then add eggs and whisk thoroughly until you achieve a homogeneous mass.
  2. Put the mixture into a small saucepan and heat on low, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add baking soda and mix until the mixture rises slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Gradually incorporate flour, mixing until you have a uniform dough.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 parts and bake the layers at 180°C for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  7. While the layers cool, prepare the cream by mixing sour cream with sugar.
