Stewed Brussels Sprouts

450 g Brussels sprouts, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 tablespoon oil, black pepper.
Trim the base of each Brussels sprout.

tushenaya_briusselskaya_kapusta-227.jpgSelect a pot to fit the sprouts in a single layer. Pour 6 mm of water into an empty pot. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat. Add 1/2 tablespoon of salt.

Remove the sprouts from the water, add 1/2 tablespoon of oil, and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
