Roasted Turkey with Vegetables

  • Turkey (main ingredients:) 1 Piece
  • Cooking oil 1 Piece
  • Carrot 200 Grams
  • Celery 150 Grams
  • Onion 2 Pieces
  • Brown sugar 1/2 Cup
  • Meat broth 3 Liters
  • Black pepper 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Allspice 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Water 3 Liters
  • Apple (aromatic mixture:) 1 Piece
  • Cinnamon stick 1 Piece
  • Sprig of rosemary 4 Pieces
  • Sage leaves 6 Pieces
jarenaya_indeika_s_ovoshami-7942.JPGIn a pot, combine all the ingredients FOR THE BRINE (except for the water). Bring to a boil and then cool. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
jarenaya_indeika_s_ovoshami-7945.JPGThoroughly rinse the turkey both inside and out. Place it in a bucket or deep bowl, covering with brine and water. Cover and leave in a cool place for 6-8 hours.
jarenaya_indeika_s_ovoshami-7946.JPGRemove the turkey from the brine. Preheat the oven to the highest temperature. Prepare the aromatic mixture: chop the apples, onion, cinnamon, rosemary, and sage. Place in a pot and cover with water. Bake for 5 minutes at maximum heat. Chop the vegetables (main ingredients) and lay them in a casserole.
