Bacon in Red Wine with Asparagus

  • Bacon 4 Pieces
  • Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Shallot 2 Tbsp
  • Flour 1 1/2 Tbsp
  • Red Wine 3/4 Cup
  • Meat Spices 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt (to taste) 1 Pinch
  • Ground Pepper (to taste) 1 Pinch

bekon_v_krasnom_vine_so_sparjei-7109.jpgPour in the red wine. Bring to a boil, cooking for 5 minutes until the liquid has reduced by half. Add spices. Continue cooking for 10 more minutes. Meanwhile, boil the asparagus in salted water. Serve as a side dish with the bacon.
