Making a sandwich with mushrooms, eggplants, and cheese is a great way to surprise your guests. This appetizer is not only delicious but also visually appealing.
Ingredients
- mushrooms - 200 g
- eggplant - 1 pc.
- cheese - 150 g
- bread - 4 slices
- garlic - 1 clove
- olive oil - 2 tbsp.
- salt and pepper - to taste
Instructions
- Cut the eggplants into cubes, salt them, and leave for 15 minutes to remove the bitterness.
- Meanwhile, finely chop the mushrooms and sauté them in olive oil.
- Set the sautéed mushrooms aside and fry the eggplants in the same pan until golden brown.
- Mix the mushrooms with the eggplants, add finely chopped garlic, pepper, and a bit of salt.
- Spread the resulting filling on the slices of bread and top with grated cheese.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot!
