Dutch Bread Pudding

Sweet and rich, Dutch bread pudding is the perfect treat. Let’s see how to make it!

Ingredients

  • 500 g white bread
  • 1 l milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50 g butter
  • Raisins to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut the bread into cubes and place in a baking dish.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk with sugar and butter until dissolved.
  3. Beat the eggs with vanilla and gently pour into the milk mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture over the bread and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
  5. Add raisins and gently mix.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40-45 minutes.
  7. Cool and serve.

Tips

For an extra flavor, you can add cinnamon or lemon zest.
