Cooking a German beef dish in a pressure cooker takes little time and gives you an incredibly tender and flavorful meal. This recipe is perfect for those who appreciate hearty and aromatic treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef (preferably neck or brisket)
  • 2 onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 200 ml broth (beef or vegetable)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spices (optional, e.g., thyme or bay leaves)

Preparation

  1. Cut the meat into portion-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a pan with a little oil and sauté the meat until golden brown.
  3. Place the chopped onions, garlic, and carrots in the pressure cooker.
  4. Add the sautéed meat and pour the broth over everything.
  5. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook on medium heat for about 35-40 minutes after boiling.
  6. After cooking, allow the pressure cooker to cool, then open and serve the dish with a side of your choice.
