Beef Liver with Potatoes, Onions, and Garlic

This old Russian recipe is a hearty and delicious dish that is perfect for a home-cooked lunch.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g beef liver
  • 4-5 medium potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sunflower oil for frying

Cooking Instructions:

  1. First, rinse the beef liver thoroughly under cold water and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Peel and dice the potatoes.
  3. Slice the onion into half-rings, and chop or crush the garlic finely.
  4. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion until golden brown.
  5. Add the liver to the onion and fry it on both sides until cooked through.
  6. Then add the potatoes and continue cooking until they are tender.
  7. Finally, add the garlic, salt, and pepper, mix well and bring to readiness.

Serve hot; this dish will be a great option for a family dinner.
