Beef Liver with Potatoes, Onions, and Garlic
This old Russian recipe is a hearty and delicious dish that is perfect for a home-cooked lunch.
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef liver
- 4-5 medium potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sunflower oil for frying
Cooking Instructions:
- First, rinse the beef liver thoroughly under cold water and cut it into small pieces.
- Peel and dice the potatoes.
- Slice the onion into half-rings, and chop or crush the garlic finely.
- Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion until golden brown.
- Add the liver to the onion and fry it on both sides until cooked through.
- Then add the potatoes and continue cooking until they are tender.
- Finally, add the garlic, salt, and pepper, mix well and bring to readiness.
