Pears in Wine

  • Pears (large) 4 Pieces
  • Red wine 750 Milliliters
  • Cinnamon stick 1 Piece
  • Vanilla stick 1/2 Piece
  • Sugar 300 Grams

Cook the pears in wine for 2 hours, however, the time may vary depending on the wine's temperature. Therefore, check after one hour to see how soft the pears have become. They should be tender but not falling apart.
